Around every summer solstice, we shut down Ski Run Blvd and transform it into South Lake Tahoe's biggest community dinner party. Bring your crew, pick a theme, deck out your table, and party with a purpose.

How It Works
Grab a Table
Rally your crew of 6, buy a table on Eventbrite, and split the cost. Each table is your own self-contained potluck.
Pick a Theme
Go wild with decorations and costumes. Hawaiian luau? Medieval feast? Full body paint? The more creative, the better your shot at the Best Table trophy.
Show Up & Feast
Gates open at 3 PM for table setup. Party kicks off at 5 PM. Live music, raffle prizes, and 800+ of your neighbors celebrating the longest day of the year.

Each year, one table wins the coveted three-story trophy for going all out with their theme, decorations, and costumes. Past winners have included full gold body paint, elaborate pirate ships, and disco dance floors.

Party with a Purpose
Raised in 2025 for local nonprofits
100% of proceeds from ticket sales and our live raffle go directly to supporting South Lake Tahoe families. In 2025, we supported the Family Resource Center, providing essential services, bilingual advocacy, youth programs, and vital support.

Our Story
From a Wild Idea
to 100+ Tables
In 2018, Chris, Tor, and Darcie came up with a wild idea: bring the Ski Run neighborhood together with a dinner table stretching from the base of Heavenly all the way to the lake.
The first Longest Dinner Table took place in Novus Select's yard with just 21 tables. Six years later, we've grown to 100+ tables, 800+ guests, and have raised tens of thousands for local causes.
Our team — Chris and Viktoria McNamara, Katy Jo, and Darcie Goodman Collins — are excited to keep this tradition growing. Who knows? Maybe one day we'll actually reach our goal of a dinner table that spans from the mountains to the lake.
